Policy:
Effective immediately, all LSMP personnel—including employees and independent contractors—are required to wear and activate a body-worn camera during every active duty assignment, including security posts, funeral escorts, and client interactions.
Procedure:
Cameras shall remain powered on and recording for the entire duration of duty.
Footage may not be deleted, edited, or shared outside LSMP authorization.
Equipment issues or malfunctions must be reported to a Supervisor or the Director immediately.
At the end of each shift, devices will be secured and footage uploaded or stored as directed.
Any intentional tampering or failure to record will result in disciplinary action or termination.

Purpose:

Policy:
